¿Como utilizar nuestros aceites?

Hey Viva Lover!

A continuación, te compartimos algunas ideas.

4. Alternativas a "Cheers!"

If you purchased—or are thinking about purchasing—one of our oils, here is a simple guide with different ways to enjoy them at home.

First, read the description of each oil and choose the recipe that best fits your needs. We recommend using no more than 2 tablespoons of oil per preparation.

Here are a few ideas. Remember to apply every treatment to damp hair.

1. VivaAvocado

Blend 1/2 ripe avocado (or 1/4 avocado for short hair) with 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of ground cinnamon (optional), 2 tablespoons of your favorite oil, and 1 ounce of water until smooth.

Apply to damp hair and leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing and shampooing.

Benefits: adds shine, deeply moisturizes, and leaves hair soft and silky.

2. OhLaYogurt

Use one container of plain Greek yogurt (use two if your hair is long). Add 1/4 ripe banana or 4 small strawberries, 3 tablespoons of ground cinnamon (optional), 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of your favorite oil, and 1 ounce of water.

Mix well, apply to damp hair, leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse and shampoo.

Benefits: provides shine, hydration, and helps protect hair from heat damage. It's the perfect treatment after a day at the beach or pool.

3. Cheers!

Choose your favorite beer and dissolve 1 tablespoon of cornstarch into it. Heat over low heat for about 5 minutes to evaporate the alcohol and slightly thicken the mixture.

Once it reaches a creamy consistency, add 2 tablespoons of your favorite oil.

Apply to damp hair, leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse and shampoo.

Benefits: helps strengthen hair, repair damage, and support the hair's natural keratin production.

Important: Not recommended for light or bleached hair, as some beers may slightly alter the hair color.

4. Alternatives to "Cheers!"

If you prefer not to use beer, you can substitute it with the milk of your choice or freshly brewed coffee.

Important: Coffee is not recommended for light-colored or gray hair, as it may stain.

If you replace the beer, add honey and fresh mint leaves for a similarly nourishing and refreshing treatment.

5. Herbal Tea Treatment

Prepare an herbal infusion using rosemary, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and a splash of coffee. Once ready, gradually add cornstarch until it thickens into a creamy consistency.

Mix in 2 tablespoons of your favorite oil and apply to damp hair.

Leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse and shampoo.

Benefits: helps stimulate scalp circulation, encourages healthy hair growth, adds shine, and helps repair damaged hair.

Important: Rosemary may darken or stain gray hair with repeated use.

You can also use them on your skin

Our oils can be applied directly to damp skin for better absorption.

One of our favorite ways to use them is in a 100% natural body scrub.

Skin Food Scrub

  • 1/2 cup fine salt (table salt) or sugar.
  • 2–3 tablespoons of your favorite oil.
  • 2 tablespoons ground coffee.
  • 1–2 drops of essential oil (optional).

You can also replace the coffee with mashed strawberries, fresh aloe vera, or any skin-friendly natural ingredient.

Mix everything well, gently massage your skin during your shower, and rinse thoroughly.

We'd love to hear which recipe becomes your favorite. Have fun experimenting with your oils!
